2. Personal Information I May Collect
The personal information I collect depends on how you interact with DJ SKAZ.
When you submit an enquiry or request a quote, I may collect your name, mobile number, email address, event type, event date, venue or suburb, approximate guest numbers, the entertainment services you are interested in, and any additional event information you choose to provide.
If you proceed with a booking, I may also collect information reasonably required to organise and provide the event, including venue details, event schedules, music preferences, special requests, contact details for relevant organisers or venue representatives, booking correspondence, invoices and payment records.
If you contact me by telephone, email, social media or another messaging service, I may retain information contained in that communication where reasonably necessary to respond to you or manage your booking.
I do not intentionally collect sensitive information unless it is reasonably necessary for a particular event or you voluntarily provide it. Please avoid providing sensitive personal information unless it is relevant to your enquiry or booking.
3. How I Collect Personal Information
Personal information may be collected directly from you when you submit a form on the DJ SKAZ website, request a quote, telephone or email me, communicate through social media, make a booking, provide event instructions or speak with me before, during or after an event.
Information may also be provided by another person involved with an event, such as a partner, family member, event organiser, venue, wedding coordinator or corporate representative.
You can browse much of the DJ SKAZ website without identifying yourself. However, I will normally need accurate contact and event information if you would like a quote, availability confirmation or booking.
4. How Your Information Is Used
I may use personal information to respond to enquiries, check availability, prepare quotations, organise bookings, communicate about an event, provide DJ, karaoke or 360 photo booth services, coordinate with venues or other people involved with an event, process invoices and payments, maintain business records, resolve questions or disputes, improve my services and website, protect the website from misuse or security threats, and comply with legal or regulatory requirements.
I will not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
5. Event Photography, Video and Promotional Content
As part of my work at events, I may occasionally take photographs or short video clips showing DJ equipment, lighting, venue setups, dance floors, performances, guests or the general atmosphere of an event.
Some photographs or videos may identify people and may therefore constitute personal information.
Unless the person who booked the event asks me otherwise, selected photographs or videos that I personally capture at an event may be used by DJ SKAZ for legitimate business promotional purposes, including the DJ SKAZ website, portfolio, social media accounts, advertising, promotional material and other marketing channels.
If you do not want photographs or videos from your event used for DJ SKAZ marketing, simply tell me before or during the event. There is no additional charge and it will not affect the service you receive.
If content has already been published and you would like an identifiable photograph or video of yourself removed from a platform or channel controlled by DJ SKAZ, contact me and I will take reasonable steps to remove it.
I will also respect reasonable requests from individual guests who do not wish to appear in promotional material.
Extra care is taken with children and young people. I will not intentionally publish identifiable images of children for promotional purposes without appropriate permission from a parent, guardian, client or authorised event organiser. For school or child-focused events, identifiable promotional imagery should not be used unless appropriate permission has been confirmed.
This section relates to photographs and videos captured by or for DJ SKAZ. Professional photographers, videographers, venues and other suppliers attending an event may have their own privacy and media policies.
6. 360 Photo Booth Content
Where a 360 photo booth is booked, guests may choose to participate and create video content.
Images and videos created through the 360 photo booth may be temporarily stored or processed as necessary to create, display, deliver or share the resulting content with guests, including through QR-based sharing.
Guests choose whether to participate in the booth.
Unless separately agreed for promotional use, 360 photo booth content is primarily collected and processed for the purpose of providing the booked photo booth service.
If you have particular privacy requirements for your event, please discuss them with me before the booking.
7. Website Analytics, Cookies and Technical Information
The DJ SKAZ website may automatically collect limited technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, approximate geographic information, referring website and the date and time of your visit.
The website uses Google Analytics to help understand how visitors use the site and to improve website performance and content.
Cookies and similar technologies may also be used for website functionality, analytics, security and performance.
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, although disabling certain cookies may affect how parts of the website function.
8. Contact Forms
When you submit a contact or availability form on the DJ SKAZ website, the information you provide is used to respond to your enquiry and, where applicable, organise your booking.
Submitting an enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to promotional marketing.
Website forms and email systems may use third-party software or infrastructure to transmit or process the information required to deliver your enquiry to me.
9. Marketing Communications
From time to time, DJ SKAZ may offer newsletters, updates or promotional communications.
I will only send electronic marketing communications where permitted by applicable Australian law.
Marketing communications will identify DJ SKAZ and provide a reasonable way to unsubscribe or request that marketing communications stop.
You can ask not to receive marketing communications at any time.
This does not prevent me from sending service-related communications that are necessary to respond to an enquiry or manage an existing booking.
10. Disclosure of Personal Information
Personal information may be disclosed where reasonably necessary to provide the service you have requested.
For example, limited information may be provided to a venue, event organiser, contractor, equipment or technology provider, website hosting provider, email provider, accounting provider, payment service provider, analytics provider or another service provider involved in operating DJ SKAZ or delivering your event.
Only information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose should be provided.
I may also disclose personal information if required or authorised by law, or where necessary to protect the safety, rights or property of DJ SKAZ or another person.
11. Overseas Processing
Some third-party technology providers used in operating the website or business may store or process information outside Australia.

13. How Long Information Is Kept

Information that is no longer reasonably required may be securely deleted, destroyed or de-identified where appropriate.
Photographs or videos legitimately used as part of the DJ SKAZ portfolio or marketing material may be retained for a longer period unless removal is requested and removal is reasonably practicable.
